What are the hours of operation?
Our box office opens at 7pm each evening, and the haunt opens soon after. We close at 12AM or later. We often stay open later to accommodate patrons on busy nights but the box office will not close earlier than 12AM.
Can I make a reservation?
No. Screamers is first come, first serve.
What is the price?
The cost is $10.00 per person. All proceeds for the 2009 season are being donated to Advocates for Bartow Children.
Does Screamers accept credit cards?
No, we cannot accept credit cards or checks - Cash Only.
How long does it take to go through the haunted house?
Once you enter the haunt, you go through at your own pace so the length of the experience varies from group to group.
Are the monsters allowed to touch you?
The actors in Screamers will not touch you. They do get extremely close though. You may also bump into them during the haunt or against the props.
Is there a lot of smoke in the haunted house?
Screamers does use fog machines.
Are there strobe lights?
Yes, we do use strobe lights.
Is it dark?
Yes, the entire haunt is dimly lit with some areas being extremely dark.
Are there any age restrictions?
We do not recommend our attraction for children under the age of 8, be we leave the final decision up to the parents. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt.
Can I go in if I am pregnant?
We do not recommend our haunt for pregnant women, or anyone with a medical condition, such as epilepsy.
Can we take flash photos of your haunted houses?
NO photography of any sort is allowed in the haunt.
What can't we bring with us inside your haunted houses?
• No pets!
• No weapons!
• No alcoholic beverages!
• No cameras!
• No smoking!
• No laser pointers or flashlights!
• No food or beverages!
How old do you have to be to work at Screamers?
You must be at least 16 years old to work at Screamers. Go to our contacts page and fill in the contact info if you’re interested in working with us in 2009!
